Unless Brainiac's alterations to the heroes' DNA - which is established due to Superman's lower tolerance to green Kryptonite - somehow brings them back, they will stay that way. This does, unfortunately, mean that while new versions of Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Batman may join from other universes, the Arkhamverse's Justice League is dead. Games' YouTube channel - the new Joker will be less sure of himself and " unhinged in a different way". According to Rocksteady's Suicide Squad Insider episodes - which can be found on Warner Bros. The Arkhamverse's Joker died in Batman: Arkham City after succumbing to the side effects of Titan, the experimental formula he injected himself with in Batman: Arkham Asylum, and this event is shown in the aforementioned Batman Experience exhibition, making it canon. This will be the same situation when the Joker joins the game in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's first post-launch chapter. Deadshot can approach an image of the other Deadshot and implies that this was an impostor, calling him a " phony steampunk-ass looking dude." There are several references and Easter eggs to be found across Metropolis to tie the games together though, confirming it is the same universe. Although, in terms of tone, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League feels different from the Batman: Arkham games before it, it could be argued that this is because players are seeing the world through the eyes of the villains, rather than the Dark Knight as they've been accustomed in the past.
